This is a brief story about Joel & Ellen, who met way before they dated. Like in primary school? And they never took noticed of each other in that way until…… magic happens!
There are many ways we can present a photomontage. Not necessarily just photo after photo after photo. So here’s a video of a photomontage combined with some daily happenings and the love and relationship between the couple!
Vernon & Jessica are a fun and quirky couple! So they wanted a video that is interesting, that can make their friends laugh and liven up the atmosphere of their wedding day. So here’s what we’ve got. Enjoy!
Here’s a sneak of what went behind the scenes of this tedious stop-motion pre-wedding video.
Basically both Shaun and Tanny had to hold poses for a really long time, and every time Ruey Loon says “ok” they either have to move one step, or make a really small movement while holding the rest of their pose.
Ruey Loon took more than 5000 shots, so I’m guess Shaun, Tanny, Lawrence and Me had his voice ringing in our heads the entire day after the shoot.
36Frames proudly presents.. a pre-wedding stop motion film!
So we have been a part of working out, baby montages, pre-wedding interviews and so on so forth, but we have never done a pre-wedding stop motion film.
So with our very sporty couple shaun & tanny who were very open to ideas and ready to plunge into crazy ideas, we did this film. Therefore, just like the couple, this film is slightly wacky, unrealistic, fun, random, yet telling a brief story of their growing up and how they met each other.
The making of was crazy, we shot more than 5000 photos, edited more than a month before we could finally hand this out. Tedious, but there was so much fun involved, especially when you’ve got Tanny acting in it, shes really posey and all out there to add a little spice to the video.
All thanks to the 36frames team, that all these was possible.
Look what’s brewing in the recent month! We’ve been working on a pre-wedding video, pretty much involve some “stop-motioning”, and a great load of editing and too much fun. So here’s a 15second teaser, watch out for more stuff coming up in october!
If you have heard of instant photos such as Polaroid or Neoprints, 36frames provides you with Instant Interviews right before your wedding banquet. Interviews will be recorded during the reception and almost instantly uploaded and screened in the ballroom once the dinner commence. Contact us if you’d like to enquire! Below is an example of our beloved couple Ronnie & Jamie!
This one kinda wins “wedding of the year” for me. Everything was beautiful by default on the day. The bride, the setting (capella villa), the car and etc. Since Terence is a well-known arts person and he’s Ruey Loon’s friend. We spent some good time talking about style and video and how he would like his day to be documented, and its definitely not the usual kind of express highlights we usually would do but it’s always fun trying out and exploring!
There was a time a pair of passionate lovers
They dreamed and pursued a day of forever
Such a day came on First of November
It was a day filled with joy and laughter
A young and handsome man like Benjamin
Definitely deserves the beautiful woman Angeline
Down the road in Lamborghini
The elegant bride waited in glee
Come what might, the sisters
He had prepared a band of brothers
It was sheer fun and delight
As they both sealed their wedding day with Viva Tonight
As previously mentioned there are many benefits of using the 5dmII so one of which is I am able to sneakily shoot some photos during a wedding! This one is a candid of Ruey Loon chatting with Hossan Leong!
Have been swarmed by weddings and other filming sessions these few months, therefore the lack of updates! In recent shoots, I often have been mistaken as a photographer and had to explain that I’m actually using a DSLR as a video camera. So yes, we upgraded to the 5dmii, for those of you wondering how it looks here’s a picture:
Yes, its a DSLR but it shoots video in HD and I get to change the lens! How cool is that. I remember one incident after filming an entire event, my client came up to me and asked if I took thousands and thousands of photo to later string it into a video. Er, not, I would have to edit like a mad woman if I did! So anyway if you see me at a wedding, filming with a DSLR, be surprise not, I’m actually taking videos!
For now, maybe I’ll just ask Ruey Loon to print me a tee-shirt that says “I’m a videographer not a photographer” in 4 different languages to escape from being asked to take group photos all the time!
For now I’m loving the 5dmii because of the resolution (HD), ability to capture until low lighting and interchangeable lens and whole lot of benefits to list.
If you wanna see more weddings shot in 5dmii, feel free to contact us!
Oh oh, btw this is me and the 5dmii. Apparently I saw a stuff deer during a break and was fairly intrigued and disturbed at the same time.
