This is the 3rd trip to Japan for me, and the 2nd for me and Kim together. Pretty much still the Japan that I loved : pretty flowers, polite people, clean streets and people who take pains to dress up properly. The Yen went up slightly during this trip, hence is was about 20% more expensive then when I was there 2 years ago. This trip took us from Tokyo to Hokkaido and back to Tokyo.

When we were driving along in Hokkaido, we came across a wild fox trotting along us. With it’s head up high and and air of pride as it went along its path. That was one of the highlights of the trip, the other highlight was when we were caught for speeding.

We discovered one “evil” place this trip, thanks for the “Fox and Raccoon Strategic Solutions”. Gotemba Premier Outlets, this place alone cost us almost twice the entire budget for our previous trip ! If you are a sucker for “nice” things, this place deserves a visit….. or even 2 Kim and I together got 4 pair of shoes from Bally, 2 from YSL, and 2 from Tods. Beat that GREAT SINGAPORE SALE ! HAHAA

Just came back from Qatar and it was a roller coster ride again. Hope to get some R&R during the lull time in the middle of the year. Looking forward to my Trip to Japan then. We’ll hit Tokyo first before heading for Hokkaido. Then it’ll be back to Tokyo for more shopping ! Thinking of going to Kyoto or maybe up to Nikko. I’ve been to these places before but Kim hasn’t so it might still be good to experience it together.

The outlook this year is very good despite the gloomy forecast of the economy, my own investments are all in the red, the less I look at it the better. We have some great couples signing up with us and I think we’ll have a blast at their shoot. And I’m pretty happy with how the team is coming together, (still looking for another videographer to join my team, anyone out there ? the vacancy is still available ).
