GILLES + JUNIE

May 20, 2010

This is one of the many pre-weddings that I shot recently, but this time round, it’s slightly different from the norm. I’m not Gilles and Junie’s official photographer.

It’s a good break from being the main photographer. I was the driver instead, chauffeuring everyone around, assisting Rueyloon at times. Then when I was doing nothing, I sneaked some shots.

Well, here are the sneaky shots!

Delightfully,
Lawrence

From the beginning of this year I started to collect bits and pieces to build a camera… my camera. I got different parts to work together, by making my own adapter, drilling holes so screws would fit etc…So finally after many round of eBay and trips to the post office (for missed shipments) everything is now together. Let me present…. MY CAMERA !

It’s a plate style technical camera.

A couple of weeks ago I conducted a wedding photography seminar at Objectifs. The turn out was very good and the questions kept coming. For what was supposed to be a 2 hours talk, it went on until 3.5 hours !

Here are some photos from that night.

Seems that there is alot of interest into the different aspects of wedding photography and people want to find out how it works both behind and in front of the scene. I think for the next time I’ll do a 2-3 session work shop which will delve deeper into each aspect of wedding photography. Drop me a mail if you want to stay in touch.

Cheers
