Alvin and Ceres

June 25, 2009

They certainly hid their wedding plans very well. Most of their friends received a wonderful surprise when Alvin and Ceres sent them their wedding invites. It was only their families and closest friends, who attended their solemnisation (photography by us also) last year knew about their courtship. Haha! Not easy to remain so secretive about their relationship especially both of them are from the same company. Hmmm… I wonder how they did it.

A beautiful couple and a beautiful wedding. And I’m here to share their beautiful moments with all of you.

More photos can be seen in our Facebook.

Brian and Michelle

June 16, 2009

What I remembered most about Brian and Michelle’s wedding is the part when Brian made his thank you speech, he croaked a very high pitched queer sound, with no words came out from his mouth. At that point of time, he was trying very hard to control his emotion and fighting back his tears. It’s not a common sight to see the groom cried, moreover, Brian is a very tall and big guy. So it kind of surprised everyone and laughter soon filled the entire ballroom. Instead of feeling embarrassing, Brian just laughed it off together with the crowd.

I can tell Brian was very very happy that night. And of course Michelle too. She was full of smiles. :)

To Brian and Michelle, thank you both of you for inviting me back to your bridal suite after the banquet. The champagne is very nice and importantly, it feels great that I got to enjoy the celebration together with you, your families and friends.

Here are some images from their wedding day highlights to share.

I’ve posted some photos from my Japan trip on my facebook. The link is here.

This is the 3rd trip to Japan for me, and the 2nd for me and Kim together. Pretty much still the Japan that I loved : pretty flowers, polite people, clean streets and people who take pains to dress up properly. The Yen went up slightly during this trip, hence is was about 20% more expensive then when I was there 2 years ago. This trip took us from Tokyo to Hokkaido and back to Tokyo.

When we were driving along in Hokkaido, we came across a wild fox trotting along us. With it’s head up high and and air of pride as it went along its path. That was one of the highlights of the trip, the other highlight was when we were caught for speeding.

We discovered one “evil” place this trip, thanks for the “Fox and Raccoon Strategic Solutions”. Gotemba Premier Outlets, this place alone cost us almost twice the entire budget for our previous trip ! If you are a sucker for “nice” things, this place deserves a visit….. or even 2 :) Kim and I together got 4 pair of shoes from Bally, 2 from YSL, and 2 from Tods. Beat that GREAT SINGAPORE SALE ! HAHAA

Just before I left for Japan, I caught up with Donna, Victor and their baby. I shot their wedding in the my early years, Donna stayed just a couple of blocks away from my place hence I just walked over in the morning. Actually I think I ran because I was slightly late :)

It’s nice to see that everyone is doing well.
